A Play Based, Co-Operative Pre-School for Children 18 months - 4 years
The Learning Center for Young Children (LCYC) has happily served the Kensington area community for over 60 years. Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church opened the Warner Christian Day School in 1959 as an alternative to segregated schools and as an outreach ministry to young families in the community. The name was changed to the Learning Center for Young Children in the early 1980's. LCYC continues to provide parent and preschool education to families with young children. In addition to preparing children and parents for school and life, many lifelong friendships are formed at LCYC.
